About 400,000 visitors come to Troy every year from all over the world. Tour groups come with their own guide. Although there are display boards put up by the archaeologists which give some information about Troy, the site itself is very complicated and a guide is recommended.

Our guide Mustafa Askin (thetroyguide@hotmail.com) is highly recommended. He has been guiding groups and individuals since 1978. He is a local Trojan and has a great passion for Troy. He has the great advantage of being able to meet the archaeologists working at the site every year. His book about Troy ("TROY - Revised Edition") has been published in 8 different languages.
